Every imageboards dying, but I hope that the new gen people will come back to use imageboards.
Cuz even me I enjoy to use imageboards even it's toxic and offensive at last it just a word that anyone can type. Not like the modern social media. I hope the new gen think same.
It just a hope so. At last all of the imageboards would be completely die for someday . idk :p
i don't think it's completely die, there are still a few people using it.
anyway, just think about how things were like 15 years ago. software used to be way harder to use compared to nowadays, where everything is pretty simple. like with imageboards, you had to actually look through the catalog to find stuff, but with modern social media, you can just keep scrolling.
The newer generation believes all imageboards are used by weird people. A common belief is that 4chan is this very evil hacker place where people dox each other.
Using an imageboard takes too much mental strain anyway, why bother with so much reading when you can just mindlessly consume videos that are fed to you by an algorithm tailored to your likes?
